Applications

The Fielden Load Inverter Station offers a quick and simple method of transferring a load from one pallet to another.

Pallet changing is required by warehouses, distribution centres and manufacturers or any other environment where it is necessary either to retain an in-house pallet or to dispose of a shipping pallet. Typical users are pharmaceutical or food companies where it is important to remove shipping pallets. Other users may simply wish to reduce inventory of pool pallets.

Using the Load Inverter is an alternative to transferring loads by hand. The fast cycle time and built in safety features allow for a speedy and trouble-free exchange of load base.

Most types of load can be handled including boxed, canned, bagged or other packaged goods.

It is possible, if inversion is not preferred, to limit the rotation to allow for the removal of the pallet and to replace with alternative. Ask for details.

Loads can also be transferred to slipsheets

Construction

The Fielden Load Inverter Station is a robust self-contained machine capable of continuous operation. A hydraulic power pack mounted to the machine base provides drive for the stabiliser pad and rotation system. Operation is through push buttons controls.

The machine has removable mesh guarding to the sides and rear.

Manufacture is carried out completely by Fielden at our Sowerby Bridge factory and produced to conform to Machinery Directive 98/37EC.

The Load Inverter is freestanding, does not require fastening to the floor and is easily transportable using a lift truck or crane with correct capacity.

Operation Cycle

The simple pallet transfer procedure is carried out within 2 to 3 minutes. With an inverted pallet placed on the load a lift truck, or pallet truck, is used to position the load on the machine. The operator lowers the stabiliser pad to contact the underside of the pallet and then rotates the load. Following release of the stabiliser the load is free to be removed from the machine on its new pallet.
